Droid Eris & Android 2.1
by Josh on Apr.10, 2010, under Uncategorized
Rumor has it that Verizon Wireless will be releasing Android 2.x for the Droid Eris some time in 2010. I can’t wait any longer, I grabbed the 2.1 ROM from the guys over at XDA-Developers. I am now enjoying Google Navigation along with a couple other changes. PCWorld has a decent list of the changes in 2.1, Live Wallpapers does not appear to be included in the ROM I loaded. Use the leaked ROM at your own risk, just because it worked for others doesn’t mean it will work for you, no one is liable if you brick your phone.
